Download Already Built CINELERRA-GG

Many distros have repositories of pre-built packages that include CINELERRA-GG. An excellent release distribution can be found at:

https://github.com/einhander/cin-gg-packages/releases.

This is especially advantageous to the way some users prefer to keep CinelerraGG updated as it uses the standard deb and rpm packages methodology. It automatically builds packages on every git change in the main repo with releases corresponding to a build date, not a git commit date. Current build hosts are:

	Debian 13 
	Debian 12 
	Debian 11 
	Suse Leap 15.5
	Suse Tumbleweed 
	Fedora 38
	Ubuntu 22.04

This build farm creates packages for the latest current versions of these distros with the potential for additional distros to be added in the future. There are also packages for some previously built dates in case you want to revert to a specific package date. You might have to install libsuil-0-0 (library for loading and wrapping LV2 plugin UIs) but you will be informed by the installation process if so.

In addition there are older pre-built dynamic/static binaries that are no longer being updated; they are stable and working but without any new functionality since 10/31/2020. You should use the simpler AppImage instead as described previously. They include Arch(10/31/2020), Centos7.6.1810, Centos8,0.1905, Debian9, Debian10, Fedora30, Fedora31, Fedora32, Leap15.1, Leap15.2,Mint18.2, Mint19, Mint20, Slk32-14.2 (slackware 32-bit), Slk64-14.2 (slackware 64-bit), Ubuntu14.04.1, Ubuntu16.04, Ubuntu18.04, Ubuntu20.04, They are in subdirectories of:

The tars directory contains single-user static builds for different distros. The pkgs directory contains the standard packaged application for various distros. There is a file in the download directory with instructions so you can cut and paste and avoid typos.

Other Operating Systems with available packages are often posted in various places on the internet; this includes Gentoo, FreeBSD, Rosa, Sparc32, xxxx. A Windows 10 version installation is described in 1.5.
